Security Camp OZ 2009 Call For Papers
Security Camp Oz is a community driven vendor neutral event held at the Charles Sturt University Campus in Wagga Wagga NSW on the 10th and 11th of October 2009. Attendance is free with speakers and delegates covering their own accommodation and travel costs.
Security Camp Oz is looking for speakers from the Community or Industry. We welcome all security topics including Linux, Windows, Cisco, IDS, Firewalls, and anything security technology related. If you feel you have some experience, or information that other members of the IT Security community would find useful, please submit your papers to us on Orin's contact page here: http://securitycampoz.com/members/orinthomas.aspx (use the email link on the left hand menu) . Include 'Security Camp Oz Submission' in the subject line of your email.
Rules For Submission
· Topic suggestion papers should be no more than 1 A4 page in length.
· Topics should relate to the IT Security industry areas of Securing Networking, System Administration, Security Products, Secure Development and Security based auditing and investigation.
· Topics should have a practical focus and include demonstrations.
· Presentations of papers should be 45-50 minutes long.
· Presentations should be at an advanced, not introductory, level.
· Previously presented material is acceptable providing there are no violations of copyright.
· Any presentation that is discovered to be a copyright violation, or presented as original work from someone who is not the original author will be rejected.
· All submissions will be made available to Secuirty Camp Oz attendees, unless specifically requested by the presenter. The Security Camp Oz Program referee will independently select all topics and speakers based on the quality of papers. Acceptance of the papers is at the discretion of the Security Camp Oz referee which has the right to refuse all papers. The referee's decisions are final.
